· Psycho Clown: Orange vanilla fragrance. The color settled in this one, creating an uneven look. Otherwise normal.

· Zombie Killer: The problem here is soap batter poured into the mold at too high a temperature. See how the side of the bar looks dried out? That's the problem. Otherwise fine; contains the normal scent, plus cocoa powder, charcoal powder, and finely ground earl grey tea.

Ingredients

saponified coconut oil, water, fragrance

psycho clown also contains: mica, titanium dioxide, charcoal powder

witch doctor also contains: mica, titanium dioxide, lime zest, coconut flakes

lilith also contains: kaolin clay, charcoal

siren also contains: mica, titanium dioxide, sand

creature also contains: mica, charcoal, poppy seeds, match powder, dandelion powder

Special Properties

MONSTER is a small business. Seriously, we're a couple of gothy weirdos in southern Washington making soap and beard oil out of our (very) modest workshop. We can make some seriously excellent quality products for you. We can also royally f*** up a batch.

Abominations are the soaps we made where something went wrong, but the soap is still perfectly useable. Examples include forgetting to add fragrance (soap is fine, just unscented), bars that were cut crooked (all else is fine, just looks obviously messed up), or bars with holes in them (this happens when the batter goes into the molds too thick and air pockets remain). 

In other words, these are our "uglies."

We don't want to lose money on the mistakes, so we're offering them up to you here at a pretty sweet discount. You get bargain soap, and we can recoup some of the costs of our mistakes. It's a win-win!

    A Word on Exfoliating Soaps

    At MONSTER Flesh & Mane, we use four grades of exfoliation in our soaps.

    None
    These soaps do not have any exfoliation ingredients and thus require no special instructions.

    Light
    With the finest grit, the exfoliating ingredients in these soaps will gently scrub away dead skin from the topmost layer. Less effective, but great for daily use. Use as normal.

    Moderate
    These soaps have slightly coarser grit, or harder bits that will exfoliate a bit harder. If you just scrub away with these, you may cause some irritation and scratching of your skin. Slow it down a bit.

    Heavy
    The exfoliating ingredients in these soaps are coarse or especially hard, and will seriously abrade away dead skin. Use slow, deliberate circles when scrubbing with these soaps. Not for every day use; use only as needed.
